While I never got the chance to meet Steve, I knew his wife Vickie very well. Vickie, for you to have met and married Steve, he must have been a very special person. Sending my love, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to you and the rest of the family. May God be with you during this time of sorrow.

Vickie, Kathy and family, we are so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. You have our deepest heartfelt sympathies and condolences. Steve was such a sweet and gentle soul. I have and always will remember him with great fondness. My only regret is that the few times I have been back home to Shelbyville, I didn't get a chance to see you both. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He is not in pain now, and he is with Uncle Duane and Aunt Betty, and all the family that has gone before him.
